This study evaluated community perceptions regarding fire risks in gas stations and it measured both preparedness and fire safety educational levels. The researchers employed triangulated data collection tools using unstructured interviews, focus group discussions and observations which collected data from citizens, business owner and gasoline station employees. Study findings showed general public awareness about fire hazards but inadequate people had preparedness measures alongside weak adherence to rules throughout the community. The insufficient planning of many fuel stations close to residential areas created additional fire hazards due to inadequate town development practices. The report supports updated zoning rules that need better law enforcement combined with enhanced fire safety education and fire risk reduction activities involving local communities. The improvement of fire emergency readiness requires the establishment of fire hydrants together with standardized safety drills and increased enforcement of fire safety legislation. The planned steps will establish safer workplace environments in Ghana together with reduced gas station safety hazards.
2025-09-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Daitey William, Owusu Panin Kwame Baah https://ojs.berajah.com/index.php/go/article/view/616 POTRET TANTANGAN DAN STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN DI WILAYAH PERBATASAN INDONESIA 2025-09-02T15:10:44+00:00 Komari Komari arikom08@gmail.com Aslan Aslan aslan@iaisambas.ac.id Rusiadi Rusiadi arikom08@gmail.com
This study aims to identify challenges and formulate strategies for developing education in Indonesia's border regions through a literature review. The results of the study indicate that education in border regions faces various obstacles, such as limited infrastructure, a shortage of qualified teachers, a lack of facilities and infrastructure, and low motivation to learn due to socio-cultural and geographical factors. Development strategies that can be implemented include the development of educational infrastructure, strengthening contextual curricula, improving teacher capacity and welfare, utilizing educational technology, and empowering communities and multisectoral collaboration. The implementation of integrated and sustainable strategies is expected to accelerate the equalisation of access to and quality of education in border areas, while strengthening the identity and national awareness of the younger generation.
2025-09-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Komari, Aslan, Rusiadi https://ojs.berajah.com/index.php/go/article/view/617 TRANSFORMASI SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN SEKOLAH (SIMS): EFEKTIVITAS, TANTANGAN, DAN SOLUSI DI MASA KINI 2025-09-02T15:25:21+00:00 A. Hamid hmidun2627@gmail.com Aslan Aslan aslanalbanjary066@gmail.com
The transformation of the School Management Information System (SIMS) is a strategic step in modernising education governance in the digital age. This article discusses the effectiveness, challenges, and solutions for implementing SIMS through a literature review. The results of the study indicate that SIMS can improve administrative efficiency, data accuracy, and transparency in education services. However, this transformation process still faces various obstacles, such as infrastructure limitations, low digital literacy, resistance to change, and data security issues. To optimise the benefits of SIMS, comprehensive solutions are needed in the form of infrastructure strengthening, digital literacy training, adaptive system development, and sustainable policy support. With this approach, SIMS can become a key pillar in realising effective and responsive school governance in the present day.
2025-09-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 A. This research uses the literature review method to examine the concepts, challenges, and strategies of educational transformation in the digital era. The results show that 21st century education requires mastery of critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, communication, digital literacy, and character strengthening. However, the implementation of education transformation still faces challenges in the form of gaps in access, education quality, teacher readiness, and equitable distribution of technological infrastructure. To overcome these obstacles, a comprehensive strategy is needed in the form of equalising access to education, adaptive curriculum reform, improving teacher competence, and cross-sector collaboration. Adaptive, innovative and characterful education transformation is believed to be able to produce superior human resources who are ready to compete at the global level and contribute positively to the progress of the nation.
2025-09-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Alif Lukmanul Hakim, Rafika Nisa, Nana Citrawati Lestari https://ojs.berajah.com/index.php/go/article/view/627 PORTRAYING THE CONTENT IN THE TEXTBOOK ENTITLED “THINK GLOBALLY ACT LOCALLY” BASED ON CULTURAL VIEW 2025-10-31T14:18:27+00:00 Dimas Syahputra dimasssyahputra76408@gmail.com Magvirah El Walidayni Kau dimasssyahputra76408@gmail.com Rahmawaty Mamu dimasssyahputra76408@gmail.com
This qualitative study examines cultural representation in the Indonesian EFL textbook "Think Globally Act Locally" for Grade 9 students. Employing a descriptive design and content analysis approach, the research applies the theoretical frameworks of Cortazzi & Jin (regarding cultural categories: Source, Target, and International Cultures) and Yuen (regarding cultural dimensions: Product, Practice, and Perspective). The findings reveal a conspicuous imbalance. Cultural representation is significantly dominated by Indonesian Source Culture, reflected in the use of local names, folklore, cuisine, and landmarks. While this aligns with the "Act Locally" directive, this dominance overshadows the inclusion of both Target and International Cultures, which are not only minimal but also presented superficially. Furthermore, the analysis of cultural dimensions indicates a heavy reliance on surface-level representations of Products, while understanding of Practices and, in particular, the underlying Perspectives or philosophical values of cultures is severely limited. The study concludes that the textbook's unbalanced approach risks constraining students' global outlook. Therefore, it recommends a more equitable and profound integration of diverse cultural categories and dimensions to effectively foster the intercultural awareness competence essential for navigating global dynamics.
2025-09-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Dimas Syahputra, Magvirah El Walidayni Kau, Rahmawaty Mamu
